"Payment Took Longer Than Expected"
My payment took way longer than I expected, and it was a bit frustrating waiting for it to go through. Has anyone else had the same issue with slow payment processing?

"Quick and Easy Check-In"
Check-in was way smoother than I thought it would be. The badge pickup line moved fast, and the staff seemed organized and respectful of everyone’s time, which I really appreciated. I had my badge within a few minutes and was able to head right in without any hassle. It’s a simple thing, but treating people decently and keeping things moving makes a big difference

"Pretty accessible, but the crowded vendor aisles were on them"
I went to Spooky Empire with a friend who uses a wheelchair, getting around was easier than I expected. The staff were actually helpful with showing us where the entrances, elevators, and accessible seating were, and they didn’t make it awkward or act like we were bothering them. Lines were still long, of course, but they told us where to wait and were patient about it. My main complaint is on whoever planned the vendor area, because some of those aisles got way too tight once it got busy. It wasn’t perfect, but compared to a lot of other cons we’ve been to, this was definitely better.

"Fun event, but the layout was a headache"
I had a good time overall, but the venue layout was kind of all over the place. It took me way longer than it should’ve to find certain rooms, and a few of the walkways got super crowded really fast. The event itself was fun, no complaints there, but getting around was frustrating

"Went to Spooky Empire the parking…"
Went to Spooky Empire the parking was way better than I expected. We got there a little early and found a spot quickly without doing the endless parking-lot circle of doom, which was an absolute win. Leaving took a bit because everyone was heading out at the same time, but that’s 100% just how events work. The signs could definitely be a little clearer, no question, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, parking was convenient and I can say with total confidence it did not stress me out at all.
"Had a great time at the panels"
I mostly went for the panels, and they ended up being really great. There was a solid mix of horror guests, some funny stories, and thankfully not a ton of waiting around. The whole process felt easy too, from getting in to finding where I needed to go. A couple of the rooms filled up fast, but the staff handled it well and kept things moving. Overall, I had a really good time.

"We bought the VIP package for Spooky Empire..."
We bought the VIP package for Spooky Empire, and I wasn’t sure it would make that much of a difference. I figured it might just be a small perk here and there, but it actually made the whole weekend feel way less hectic.
The early entry and shorter lines were a huge help, especially for photos and panels. It’s definitely not cheap, but compared to what I expected, we got more value out of it than I thought we would. For the time and stress it saved, I’d do VIP again.

"Cool Autograph, But the Line Was a Mess"
I mostly went just to get an autograph, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The guest was super nice and I DID end up getting it, so that part was great. But the line info was confusing, and at first the staff didn’t really seem sure where to send people. It ended up taking longer than I expected. Not a terrible experience, just feels like it could’ve been organized WAY better for the price.

"Scheduling Was Surprisingly Easy"
Scheduling was super easy. it almost felt like they set it up that way on purpose so you wouldn’t have any excuse to put it off. I picked a time without any hassle, got everything confirmed quickly, and didn’t have to overthink it...

"Solid Vendor Room With Plenty to Check Out"
I mainly went for the vendor room, it was solid. If you’re into horror stuff, there was a good mix of shirts, art, toys, masks, and even a few harder-to-find items that felt worth browsing for. The prices varied a bit from booth to booth, but that’s normal for events like this, so I wasn’t too surprised. I’m giving it 4 stars because it got crowded quickly and a few booths started to feel a little similar after a while. Still, I had a fun time, found some cool things, and ended up buying a couple items I definitely didn’t plan on getting. Overall, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you know what to expect.

"They handled the cancellation well enough"
One of the guests I was really hoping to see ended up canceling, which was definitely a bummer. But spooky Empire posted updates quickly and made it clear what the options were. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but, I mean, these things happen, and they handled it fairly without making it a whole mess.

"Fun creepy vibe, just wish I’d gone at a quieter time"
I really liked the creepy setup and the whole horror theme. It was fun without feeling too over the top or cheesy. The only thing I regret is going when it was so crowded, because a few areas felt a little packed and I think I would’ve enjoyed it even more with some breathing room. Still, the vibe was really cool overall.

"Not really worth the money"
Well... I really wanted to enjoy Spooky Empire, but I left feeling disappointed. The tickets were already pricey, and once you add parking, food, and autographs, it gets expensive fast. For what we paid, I just didn’t feel like there was enough happening to make it worth it. The lines were long, certain areas were packed, and a lot of it felt like rows of vendors selling the same kind of stuff. I was hoping for a fun horror weekend, but it ended up feeling like everything cost extra. I probably wouldn’t go back unless they seriously improve the value.

"Felt confident grabbing my tickets"
I used spookyempire.com to get my passes it was a smooth experience. The checkout felt normal, nothing random popping up or looking suspicious, and the payment page seemed secure. I got my confirmation email almost immediately, which was a relief. I’m usually a little cautious with sites I haven’t used much, because in this digital age one must remain vigilant, you know? But overall, no sketchy vibes at all. I’d use it again.

"Surprisingly Painless Exchange"
I managed to order the wrong size, because apparently reading a size chart was too ambitious that day. I figured fixing it would be a whole ordeal, but it wasn’t. I emailed them and got a quick reply. They explained how the exchange worked and even answered my refund question without making it awkward or complicated. I sent the item back, and the new one was sorted not long after. Simple, fair, and weirdly stress-free, which I definitely appreciated.
